Fix error 0x80070643 on Windows Update

You have to manually resize your "Reserved" partition by 250 MB no matter if you make a clean install of the O.S

To check the WinRE status, run reagentc /info.

If the WinRE is installed, there should be a “Windows RE location” with a path to the WinRE directory.

An example is :

“Windows RE location: [file://%3f/GLOBALROOT/device/harddisk0/partition4/Recovery/WindowsRE]

\\?\GLOBALROOT\device\harddisk0\partition4\Recovery\WindowsRE.”

Here, the number after “harddisk” and “partition” is the index of the disk and partition WinRE is on.

To do that, run list disk.

Check if there is an asterisk character (*) in the “Gpt” column.

If there is an asterisk character (*), then the drive is GPT. Otherwise, the drive is MBR.

How to enable dark mode surf mode and google web services

Google Calendar's website like google sites, docs and sheets doesn't offer an official dark mode. However, you can force the site to use a dark theme by enabling your Chrome, Edge browser's forced dark mode feature. That'll make Google Calendar, sites, Docs and Sheets use a dark interface in your web browser.

It's still only a flag in these Chromium-based browsers, though. That means you have to enable the flag first. For example, in Chrome, you'll enter this code in your address bar:

chrome://flags

Then search for "Auto Dark Mode for Web Contents" and change its dropdown menu to "Enabled." Then relaunch the browser, and Google will be converted into dark mode.

How to check battery health on Xiaomi Android phones

Most of their phones are designed to last for years, but over time, you begin to notice a drop in battery life. That’s inevitable, though. Each charging cycle seems to degrade the battery life, and after years of usage, you might begin to notice a drop in battery performance. Unfortunately, unlike iPhones, there’s no straightforward way to check battery health on Xiaomi Android phones, which will tell users when the battery needs replacing.

Codes and meaning

MB_00: Remaining battery power percentage

MB_01: current battery status

MB_02: charging type; Turbo, Fast, or Normal

MB_03: current voltage. 5498498 is 5.49 volts

MB_04: current value of the drawn voltage by phone

MB_05: Battery temperature. 579 is 57.9°

MB_06: Battery status. It should be “Good”

MB_07: Charging brick temperature

MB_08: Current level of Temperature control

MB_09: Maximum battery voltage at 100%

MB_00/MF_01: the current battery capacity

MF_02: Charging cycles

MF_03: battery contact resistance

MF_05: Current battery capacity

MF_06: Factory battery capacity

MU_00: Charger type being used

MU_01: charging mode

MU_02: charging input of direction of output. 0 = not charging| 1 = charging| 2 = reverse charging

MU_03: maximum input voltage via USB

MU_04: input voltage via USB

MM_00: Adaptive input current limit

MM_01: USB input current

MM_02: Charger maximum charging voltage

MM_03: Maximum capacity at 100%

Meanwhile, some of the codes above might not appear after you enter the code below in the dialer app. However, you should be able to see MF_02 (charging cycle) and MB_06 (battery health status).

When buying a used Xiaomi phone, make sure to check the charging cycle. A good battery is said to have 500/600 cycles, so you don’t buy a phone with over 400 cycles. But unless you don’t plan to use the phone long term, then use that knowledge to price the device.

How to convert Uppercase to Lowercase text

The not very knowed method for converting uppercase to lowercase in Windows is to use the built-in keyboard shortcut. This shortcut works in most text editors and word processing programs, as well as in web browsers and other applications that allow you to enter text. To use the shortcut, simply highlight the text you want to convert and press the "Shift" and "F3" keys at the same time. Each time you press the shortcut, the text will cycle through all lowercase, all uppercase, and sentence case (capitalizing the first letter of each sentence).

How to Hack the chrome dinosaur game

Want to make the Chrome dinosaur jump higher or lower? Or make the T-Rex start running at a faster speed rather than gradually pick up the pace? Then try these two hacks below.

1. With the Chrome dinosaur game loaded in your browser, right-click the web page and choose Inspect to open the “Developer tools” panel.

Alternatively, press Ctrl+Shift+I on your keyboard, or click the Chrome menu button and choose “More tools,” then “Developer tools.”

2. Click the Console tab at the top of the “Developer tools” panel. To adjust the jump height of the dinosaur, type or copy and paste the following code into the Console text box and press Enter.

Runner.instance_.tRex.setJumpVelocity(15)

You can change the “(15)” part to a higher or lower number to increase or decrease the T-Rex’s jump height.

3. To adjust the dinosaur’s running speed, type or copy and paste the following code into the Console text box and press Enter.

Runner.instance_.setSpeed(1000)

Again, you can change the “(1000)” to a different numerical value for a faster or slower pace.

4. Close the “Developer tools” window and press the Spacebar to start a new game. You should notice the change in jump velocity and running speed.

You'll also see a new "Start slower" slider at the bottom of the screen that lets you control the starting speed.

How to hack the Chrome secret dinosaur game: Make the dinosaur invincible

If you’re tired of cacti and pterodactyls bringing your game to an early end, you can use a cheat to make you invincible to those obstacles and keep your dinosaur running forever. That may remove the challenge from the game, but it means you can play for longer. Here’s how to apply the hack.

1. As explained in the previous section, open the “Developer tools” panel, either by right-clicking the page and choosing Inspect, or by using one of the other methods.

2. Again, click the Console tab at the top of the panel. Type or copy and paste the following code into the text box and press Enter:

var original = Runner.prototype.gameOver

3. Now, type or copy and paste this code into the Console text box and press Enter:

Runner.prototype.gameOver = function (){}

The “Game over” function in the game will now be disabled, effectively granting the Chrome dinosaur invincibility.

4. Close the “Developer tools” panel and press Space to play a new game.

You’ll find that the T-Rex can now run straight through cacti and pterodactyls without being killed. It can run forever, in fact, while your score reaches amazing new highs.

5. After a while, invincibility can get a bit tedious, so you may want to switch back to a proper game.

To do this, open the Console in the “Developer tools” panel again. Type or copy and paste the following code and press Enter:

Runner.prototype.gameOver = original

Start a new game and you'll find that the Chrome dinosaur can now be killed by obstacles again, just like its ancestors 65 million years ago!

How to Reduce Google Chrome's Memory and CPU Usage

Google's Chrome browser has long been criticized for being a system resource hog, which is why Chromium developers have been busy working on ways to free up memory and keep things running smoothly when users have multiple windows and tabs open.

Google claims the new Memory Saver feature means Chrome uses up to 40% and 10GB less memory. The company says the new performance setting is particularly good at keeping active video and gaming tabs running smoothly.

Before you proceed, be sure to bookmark any important tabs and save anything important that you're working on in Chrome, then update the browser to the latest version available (109.0.5414.119 as of writing).

Launch Chrome and paste the following into the address bar: chrome://flags/#high-efficiency-mode-available

Next to "Enable the high efficiency mode feature in the settings", change the Default setting to Enabled, then restart Chrome.

Now paste the following into the address bar: chrome://settings/performance

In the new "Performance" menu, toggle the switch next to Memory Saver to enable it.

Restart Chrome for the changes to take effect.

After you've done that, Memory Saver will be working in the background to free up memory for other tasks. You can can control the mode at any time by clicking Settings in the three-dot menu and selecting the "Performance" sub-menu. It's also here that you can stop Chrome from deactivating specific sites, using the Add button next to "Always keep these sites active." Google cautions that there are a few settings and activities that may prevent tab deactivation. They include active audio calls or video playback, screen shares, page notifications, active downloads, partially filled forms, and connected devices via USB or Bluetooth.

How to convert any music to mp3 to listen/play in your Huawei smartwatch

AIMP is an audio player for Windows that supports the conversion of video and audio files to audio formats among other things.

The program's audio converter is quite powerful as it supports a wide variety of input and output formats. Some, like mp3, can be added to the player as they are not supported by default while others, including aac, flac, ogg or wma are supported by default by it.

You have two options to use AIMP's audio converter. If you have installed the audio player on your system, you may right-click supported video and audio formats to convert them directly from within Windows Explorer.

Simply select one or multiple supported files, right-click on the selection afterwards and select AIMP3 > Convert to another format.

This opens the program's audio converter right away. The second option you have is to open AIMP3 first, right-click in the interface and select Utilities > Audio Converter from the context menu to launch the program this way.

You may add supported media files using the plus icon at the top of the interface, or use drag & drop instead to do the same.

All files are displayed with their name, extension and audio format. You configure the conversion options at the bottom of the interface.

There you select the desired output format and quality, and may add post-processing options such as renaming or moving files to the job as well. Files are converted into individual output files by default which is something that you can change in the interface as well. If you want, you can convert all input files into a single output file.

A click on options displays additional audio conversion preferences. You may use them to change the number of threads and process priority, or whether you want ramping or surround enabled in the transform options.

The conversion itself is fast and processed silently in the background. Converted audio files are saved in the same directory as source files unless you have selected the optional move preference during job setup.

Presets of MP3 convertion to smartwatchs

(LAME)  44.100 Hz, CBR, 128 Kbps, Stereo ,2 channels

(LAME) 44.100 Hz,  CBR,    96 Kbps, Stereo, 2 channels (Recomended to low capacity memory devices. Quality may be afected)

Closing Words

While Windows users have plenty of options when it comes to the conversion of media files to audio, Helium Audio Converter, FlicFlac or Hamster Audio Converter to mention a few, there is little need for these tools if you are already using AIMP.

Now use the smartphone app and upload'it to your smartwatch or you can use your own android device via FFMPEG Media Encoder if you want your android make some of your laptop/desktop/windows/linux/iOS work. For any and more mp3 options consult my offline mode section option ripar.

Backup Windows 11 drivers using DISM

In Windows  11 / 10, you can use the DISM tool to manage drivers you have installed in the currently running operating system. It is possible to export them to a folder using DISM, then re-install Windows and install them from that folder again. Here are step-by-step instructions to do so.

Open an elevated command prompt.

In the command prompt running as Administrator, type or copy-paste the following command:

dism /online /export-driver /destination:D:\MyDrivers

Replace the "D:\MyDrivers" portion with the actual path to the folder where you will store the drivers. It can be a folder on a separate partition of your disk drive or a folder on an external drive or USB flash drive.

The switches "/online /export-driver" tell DISM to look for drivers in the folder "C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore" of the currently running operating system.

That's it. Now you have a backup of drivers made with the built-in DISM tool! The next time you re-install Windows 11/10, you will be able to use this backup to install drivers for all your devices.

Later, you can restore them using the following command:

Dism /online /Add-Driver /Driver:D:\MyDrivers /Recurse

Unsend an email in Gmail

Did you just send out an email to everyone that was meant for one person? Well, Gmail has the ability to unsend an email by adjusting one setting prior to writing your email.

This recall of a message will also allow you to modify spelling errors, incorrect recipients, subject line and even append forgotten attachments.

Gmail Settings (cogwheel icon) > See all settings > and choose the General tab.

Scroll down to "Undo Send."

Set the "Send cancellation period" to whatever is most works best for you – 5, 10, 20, or 30 seconds..

Be sure to adjust the setting to a higher number than the default setting of five seconds. Let’s face it; five seconds isn’t even enough to realize you made an error, let alone hit the unsend button. Thankfully, Gmail settings provide the option of pausing an email delivery up to 30 seconds

Change Chrome cache default path (usefull for xxbook / laptops with low SSD storage)

Did you just have released some of your GB storage of your SSD space disapear wihtout instaling nothing new?! Happens a lot when people have laptops with low SSD storage have more control about the used space. This days simple internet navigation can store 1gb of cache very easly, so if you have installed more storage or not maybe is a good idea move the delault storage cache place to other place. (maybe can affect time readings making chome slower a few mms/sec). Chrome browser only has a cache folder, which means that Chrome video cache and other temporary files are in the Cache folder.

Updating manualy a device existing driver

On Windows 11 / 10, a device driver is an essential piece of code, which allows the system to interact with a specific hardware (such as graphics card, storage driver, network adapter, Bluetooth, etc.), as well as peripherals, including mice, keyboards, printers, monitors, and many others. Usually, the detection and installation of device drivers happen automatically using the built-in driver library and the Windows Update service. However, sometimes, you may still need to update some devices manually for a number of reasons. For example, when Windows 11 / 10 cannot recognize a component. The device stops working after an upgrade. Windows Update installs a generic package, or you have to apply a critical fix or access a new feature quickly. Whatever the reason it might be, Windows 11 / 10 comes with several options to manually update a device driver, including using Windows Update, Device Manager, and auto-update assistants from device manufacturers.

In the search box on the taskbar, enter device manager, then select Device Manager / Gestor de dispositivos
