Thanos proved to be one of the most formidable supervillains in the Marvel Universe. Not only is he incredibly powerful, but his will to act on what he finds right is what puts him over the edge – especially when gathering the Infinity Gauntlet. Still, some characters could give him a hard time, even one-on-one (101), like the Silver Surfer. So, who would win in a fight?

Although it’s a close fight at first, Thanos would have the upper hand against the Silver Surfer and win. He had won most of their comic book battles and even defeated Galactus himself – the being who created the Silver Surfer as his herald.

Still, that doesn’t mean the Silver Surfer would be helpless against the Mad Titan. He has incredible powers, and the Surfer could potentially give him some trouble one-on-one (101) if Thanos had no Infinity Stones.
