A little reminder for those reading this: Back in the day, encountering certain computer issues felt like the end of the world. I vividly recall the panic and the expressions on people's faces when a simple icon vanished from the Windows 3.11 desktop, or a game on the Amstrad CPC 1512 wouldn't load, or a batch file failed to execute in the MS-DOS prompt. They would immediately call for help. Nothing compares to those times.
